Identity & Web Interface for Codecademy

Not exactly relevant to Critical Design (more the opposite, if anything – branding, identity, “commercial/marketing side” of design), but I think that the resulting work was quite successful for a website like Codecademy. I’ve personally used the website myself and fully recommend it as a basic introduction to a few of the programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).

Fairly¬†innovative way of representing the classic pulsing ‘_’ symbol of older technologies (I’m sure it’s still used today) as opposed to the ‘|; pulsing that most are familiar with.

Not sure how I feel about the icon itself for the application on mobile devices.
