Framing a Narrative

While not graphic design related, a photographer set out to document the salvaging of US Airways Flight 1549, the plane that crash-landed into the Hudson River where all onboard survived. The pictures of the plane itself but also of people admiring the plane and those doing the work of the extraction process gives us an interesting glimpse into something we don’t normally see every day. Like our focus for project 3, there’s lots of interesting things out there for us to document and write about but how we frame things and the things we choose to look at can make all the difference.
